EAGLE GROUP OF MINNESOTA VETERANS INC

Eagle Group is a mutual support organization of and for military veterans. The foundational pillars that support our mission include:

(1) "BE THERE" is perhaps the most important suicide prevention tool.
Eagle Group is a “be there” organization. Through programs of mutual support advocacy, and camaraderie, Eagle Group has developed over the years to become a tremendous buffer for those in transition – a "guard" rail that prevents veterans from going down that slippery slope. (2) PREVENTION
According to the VA, suicides among veterans are 22% higher as compared to the general population and, when broken out by gender, the rate is a startling 2.5 times higher for women. (3) THOUSANDS OF HOURS
Volunteer hours per year. Including folks with and without a military history who have answered this call to serve. Utilizing diverse strengths through committees, we enhance one another’s ability (“battle buddies”) to achieve new successes.
