Imprints of Honor (formerly Veterans Heritage Project) was founded in 2004 and established in 2009 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to Connect Students with Veterans™ in order to honor veterans, preserve America’s heritage and develop future leaders. Since our founding, we has preserved the legacies of 2,927 veterans and instilled the concepts of honor, service, respect, citizenship and appreciation for veterans and their sacrifices to 3,101 chapter students. An additional 59,000 students have benefited from veteran presentations. You support will • Enrich the academics of writing, research, civics and history. • Help students develop character, civic pride, understanding of sacrifice, and respect for service and veterans. • Help students develop 21st century skills: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, confidence, leadership, and communication. • Provides veterans the opportunity to feel appreciated for their service and fulfilled by continuing to give back. • Preserve first-person history through publishing veterans’ stories in the student publication Since You Asked,TM and through video archiving at the Library of Congress. • Bond our community through increased patriotism and civic engagement On average, • 100% of students graduate • 90% increase leadership, academic, and 21st century skills • 85% develop a mentoring relationship with a veteran • 25% of veterans tell their stories for the first time • 62% find the experience cathartic

Arizona ranks #44 for K-12 education, #45 for high school graduation, and #48 for college readiness. Sixty percent of employers indicate applicants' lack "communication and interpersonal skills", and "can't think critically, solve problems or write well."
