VETERANS ASSOCIATION NORTH COUNTY

VANC is an umbrella organization for over 20 veteran organizations. We are located in Oceanside, the backyard of Camp Pendleton. VANC is a free resource and training center for active duty, military veterans and their families. In 2019 a Veterans Emergency Financial Aid (VEFA) program was started to offer active duty and veterans a ONE TIME hand up. Since April of 2020 we have given tens of thousands of dollars for cell phone bills, utilities, car repairs and such, most of these have been in $200 or $300 increments.
VANC's response to the COVID Pandemic was to start a Food and Diaper Distribution the second Friday of every month starting in April 2020. Since then we have Served 26,231 Active Duty and Military Veterans, from that 89.5% have been active duty. The community has come out to support us to the tune of 3,931 volunteer hours. We have dispersed 226,350 diapers and deliver to 7 housebound veterans every month.
For over 10 years VANC has been committed to serving Active Duty and Military Veterans. We will continue to adVANCe our humanitarian work for our Past and Present Heroes!
