Xenopus and The Truck are two projects from a trilogy of screenplays based on my experiences growing up in the American South and Midwest. My work reimagines vibrant Asian Americana through a feminist lens, and elevates the human experiences of idiosyncratic outsiders who are too often overlooked, in times of political turmoil. How can our shared human experiences, transcend political and racial differences?
