For more than 50 years, the McCall Behavioral Health Network has supported individuals and families who often feel isolated in their struggles. Led by Maria Coutant Skinner, our compassionate and highly trained team is dedicated to helping people overcome adversity, build resilience, and achieve lasting wellness and recovery.
McCall provides a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health and substance use services throughout northwestern Connecticut, including residential recovery programs, outpatient treatment, prevention services, overdose prevention initiatives, and integrated primary care. Through coordinated, person-centered care, McCall addresses both physical and behavioral health needs, ensuring individuals receive support at every stage of life and recovery. Services are available regardless of insurance status or ability to pay, helping expand access to care for low- and moderate-income residents across the region.
Through strong partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations, McCall works to strengthen families, improve community health outcomes, and build healthier, more resilient communities. At the heart of this work is McCall’s mission: to inspire hope and promote healing by ensuring everyone has equitable access to high-quality care, compassionate support, and the resources they need to thrive.
