Located in the heart of the Leeward Coast, the U.S.VETS—Wai’anae Civic Center is the only U.S.VETS site in the nation that provides services to both veteran and civilian families. In 2007, the State of Hawaii requested U.S.VETS to extend their program to include the civilian homeless population with shelter services, providing comprehensive care to nearly 200 men, women and children each day.
