During the summer of 2024, Be the SPARK 1316 will be attending local farmer markets to distribute "volunteer bags" to children/families. These bags will include all needed supplies to make a project to donate, thus developing a volunteer heart in the young. Examples include:
1. toys for animal shelters
2. "seed bombs" made from books falling apart, compost and honeybee wild flower seeds for planting
3. card holders for the elderly utilizing cds and fabric
4. craft projects using books that would otherwise have been thrown away
5. letters to troops to be sent during holidays or with treat baskets
6. homeless care bags
