Mural Masters is a group of artists and supporters from Burien, Washington who produce an annual festival which hosts up to 20 artists who create individual and collaborative murals on as many walls in the Art Alley. We also host a handfull of auxilliary events throughout the year.
Mural Master's mission is to engage the community and create a dialogue around the joy sparked by art in public spaces.

On the website we recognize the importance and history of graffiti in the creation of a new language of expression that gives voice to often underrepresented artists. While there are many styles of art represented in The Art Alley, graffiti was the first style emphasized by Mural Masters.
We are creating an app that will identify artwork created through Mural Masters when a h QR codes is scanned. This creates an opportunity for an art-based walking tour. Each page would include names of the artist, bio, name of piece, photo of piece, and links.
We want to identify walls both in the alley and elsewhere in the city and will build a spreadsheet so that we can keep track of location and status of the walls, current artists, etc. We would also need to have an archive where we list past artists on rotating walls.
