As a chartered entity of Lummi Indian Business Council, we are guided by their leadership, and abide by tribal regulations. The fiscal non-profit entity of the Lummi Nation, the Lhaq’temish Foundation promotes advocacy and support for social services of the community.

Lhaq’temish Foundation is a non-profit 501 c 3 led by invested community members working to increase community assets and build self-sufficiency. We do this by taking a holistic approach to empowering our people with positive opportunity, being inclusive of all our people of the Lummi community, and cultivating philanthropic resources as tools to strengthen our Nation.

We strive to improve the health and quality of life for the people of Lummi Nation by supporting and strengthening programs & service, projects & special initiatives – especially those organized to promote social well-being, education, culture and civic purposes. We provide Fiscal Sponsorship services for Lummi projects that strengthen our people through cultural, social and economic abundance and contribute to a healthy, giving and prosperous community.
