Co-founders Karen Rafiqi and Linda Savino, experienced senior philanthropy, and healthcare executives, have committed to combine their skills and decades of experience to improve the health and quality of life for families, communities, workplace, and schools.

Pause To Thrive offers integrative health and wellness programs to complement conventional healthcare. No matter what problems, crises, or obstacles patients face, we are there to help them build a foundation upon which they find inner strength to cope with pain, stress and anxiety that accompany trauma. Pause to Thrive programs address behavioral health and build resilience from trauma focusing on individuals and their need to embrace self-care.
Our 2 ½ -day mind and body health retreats assist individuals to identify and execute a new life plan through exploration, education, counseling, and skill building. Our goal for retreat participants is to create a life plan to awaken the mind and ignite motivation within to transform to a heightened state of wellness.

As we are all aware, recovering to a complete state of health and wellness after illness or trauma, is personally challenging. Our target population is marginalized patients who face difficulty moving on with their life after disease diagnosis or treatment, military and first responder trauma. We serve individuals who have had their lives impacted by cancer, heart and stroke disease. Our resilience building programs serve military , veterans and active duty, First Responders as well as transformational programing for corporate leaders and employees. Pause to Thrive intends to become the “go to” individuals who need a specialized community-based behavioral health and wellness approach to regain joy in their lives.
