OKLAHOMA WARRIORS VETERAN HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The Oklahoma Warrior Ice Hockey program, in conjunction with the USA Disabled Hockey Program uses the game of hockey to assist individuals transitioning from active duty and members with disabilities in developing self-confidence, adjusting to their new lifestyle, rehabilitation, self-reliance and concentration. It is designed to integrate people with disabilities and people without disabilities in order to promote awareness of challenges and to encourage team building. This program will encourage individuals to be more successful both within and outside a hockey environment.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We depend on fundraising and charitable donations to fund our players and team. In addition to ice time, out of town games and tournaments add travel costs, meals and lodging.
To offset these expenses, we seek donations from private individuals and corporate donors.
