FIGHT OAR DIE

Vision: Mental health is a priority and key metric of community wellbeing; healthy individuals realize their full potential, and feel empowered to reach it. Fight Oar Die’s mission is two-fold: Establish community centered mental health "safety nets" to support and intervene with those experiencing mental health challenges and crises. Send teams of all US Veterans to participate in extreme challenges to stand as examples of reaching one's full potential.

Fight Oar Die teaches free Mental Health First Aid to anyone who wants it. We also provide grant money to students who have been touched by suicide, are from/related to military or veterans, and are pursuing advanced degrees in mental health with the intent to work with military and/or Veterans. We put Veterans in a boat to row, exemplifying how important mental health is in achieving goals.
