HEROES FOR HEALTHCARE INC

Heroes for Healthcare is a non-profit that helps our military and veterans that have healthcare experience obtain a job in healthcare.
We have many soldiers that are corpsmen and medics in the services. Our military does not allow for them to be certified or licensed during their active duty. They learn and practice great skills, save lives and are far more advances then the parallel job on the civilian side. However they are unable to work after discharge because of not being credentialed.
Heroes works with them to get those proper credentials in an expedited way so they can obtain a job quickly. We use many resources and partners across the country to achieve this. Our services are all free of charge and we help anyone with medical background no matter where they are in the country.
Heroes offers 5 services.
1.Consultant : Transition support, Provide Resources, Conduct an Interview, Career development planning, Housing/ Relocation services
2. Employment Prep : Resume Building, Interview Skills, Job Counseling
3. Education : On line training, testing, night school, College programs with special curriculums
4. Job Placements : access to healthcare jobs at a national level through Premier Medical Staffing Services.
5. Philanthropic : We offer financial assistance to individuals that meet certain criteria,
for example GI Bill only covers credits not books, some students cant afford books. We have a Support a Soldier campaign to help soldiers that are in school and try to fundraise to help support them.
