DENTON COUNTY MHMR CENTER

Since 1971, Denton County MHMR Center (the Center) has provided timely and effective mental health (MH), crisis support, and intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services to underfunded and underinsured individuals in the geographic catchment area of Denton County, Texas. The Center has served as the Local Authority of MH and IDD services since 1987. As a Texas Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), the Center serves as a holistic, all-inclusive resource for individuals who are living with a mental or physical health and/or substance use concern or crisis and need outpatient treatment. Our staff works with individuals served, their family, and other community organizations and providers to develop person-centered treatment plans designed to help achieve personal goals and recovery.
