RSM is commanded to provide nutritional food to the needy through nutritional food box programs and prepared meals at special events. Combined with direct public distributions the Ministry gives provisional support for group homes / church outreaches / civic group events / Veterans and their families, Veteran Organizations and Senior Citizens. We are in prayer and unity listening to God’s commands to care for all in need.
The Thrift Store is a Ministry outreach to the community and a primary support of the Ministry to care for people. The store also supports Veteran Service Organizations, Satellite Locations, Cities and Community outreach events. The store provides clothing to the needy and emergency household items through local disaster and other programs.
Our Veterans Transportation Services to Homeless, Low Income and Disabled Veterans is for non-emergency rides to the East Valley VA Clinic and the VA Hospital in Phoenix. We also provide rides to the Veteran Center Service Facility in Mesa and to most of the Veteran Service Groups (DAV, Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart and others) for claims related services. Rides are also provided to the same group to our food bank for food boxes and emergency assistance with clothing and other needs they have. RSM delivers food boxes to homebound Veterans and Seniors.
RSM's programs distribute millions of pounds of nutritional food to 10's of thousands of people through the food bank and meal programs annually. Additionally providing clothing and other necessity of life items to people in need.
Resurrection has been an Arizona Corporation since 2002 and an IRS 501 [C][3] since 2003. RSM's roots go back to a street ministry started in Sandy, Utah in 1983. The Board of Directors asks for your prayers and would very much like to share with you what goes on at our facility. Tours can be arranged at almost any time. RSM is recognized as one of the major East Valley direct service sites for people in need.
