FREEDOM HILLS THERAPEUTIC RIDING PROGRAM INC

We belong the the MD Horse Council, MD Council for Equestrian Therapy, the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce and other organizations where we help to promote the horse industry. We are a Maryland Horse Discovery Center and a Maryland Certified Farm Based Education Center. Renee helped write the curriculum for MD Farm Based Education. We offer educational programs for Schools, 4-Hers, Girl and Boy Scouts and many other groups. We partner with Military Veteran Centers, Department of Juvenile Services and centers that offer counseling. We also have groups come out to volunteer for us. We take horses to the Cecil County Fair as well as the Maryland State Fair to introduce them to the public allowing the public to learn to groom them and spend time with them. Many of our athletes compete in competitions such as the MD Military Games, Special Olympics, Dressage and Eventing to mention just a few. Our Military Drill Team has performed at both the MD State Fair and the MD Million.
