Our mission is connect the local civilian and veteran communities together, and provide resources and volunteers to help solve local veteran issues.

SRQ VETS was formed because of need that was not being filled in our local community. Veterans were falling through the cracks of the large national organization. We not only help the veteran but also there direct family members, We help in various ways like , renting a moving truck to help them move, helping with a utility bill, car payment, rent payment, transportation, gathering donated goods and getting them to the veteran. We also formed Operation Rubix which is a mental health program to get the veteran and the family help dealing with the issues associated with reintegration into the civilian world, PTSD and more. Operation Rubix has been the approved program of the Veterans Courts of both Sarasota & Manatee county Florida. operationrubix.org
