Late last year, we received a call from a veterinarian. Her client passed away and had 2 13 year old horses. Her wish was they stay together, in sanctuary. We said yes, and quickly got to work building stalls for them.
While they are, for the most part functional, they are not ideal for horses, especially during hurricane season.
We are working with our GC on building a concrete, storm safe, barn for them.
We were gifted with a grant to get the project started, but will need help completing it .
