Platoon 22 is a nonprofit organization that provides Veteran focused transitional support services. Our mission is to end Veteran suicide through the successful reintegration of service members and families by assembling critical resources, providing peer support, and developing transitional programs. the organization provides care coordination, recreational opportunities, peer support, critical financial assistance, and operates the Platoon Veteran Services Center. AWARENESS AND RESOURCES ARE KEY TO THE SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION. The Platoon Veteran Services Center serves as a best-in-class transitional support for our warfighters and their families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This facility is located in Frederick, Maryland and provides a comprehensive resource serving the Veteran community. With more than 400,000 Veterans living in the state of Maryland and 100,000 Veterans living in Frederick and the immediate surrounding areas, the need is clear.

The center will be home to more than a dozen staff and strategic partners, all committed to eliminating the oftentimes frustrating bureaucracy that is a barrier to the Veteran and their family in receiving their much-deserved, hard-earned benefits. Through classes, counseling, and benefits navigation Warriors and their families will receive the support they need to ensure a smooth and rewarding transition into civilian life. Among these services, the center will assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.
