Approximately 23,000 Connecticut Veterans rely on informal care from family, friends, and strangers. WE HAVE A SOLUTION!!! Transitional and/or affordable housing for Veterans, constructed by Veterans in efforts to reduce homelessness and improve quality of life.
With your help, National Veterans Counsel for Legal Redress will:
1. Develop housing that reduces homelessness.
2. Incorporate quality, smart (Energy Star approved) and functional design into housing blueprint.
3. Encourage resident sustainability through paid job training in the construction, maintenance, and residential design fields.
4. Provide ON-SITE Trauma-Informed Intensive Case Management services.
Please assist us with reaching our goal of raising 26,000.00 to pay for aiding the structural construction of tiny homes for three homeless veterans.
