Horsepower, formerly known as Handi-Riders, (EIN: 46-0378036) was founded in 1985 and is a non-profit organized exclusively for education and charitable purposes, including but not limited to providing and supporting equine-assisted therapeutic and rehabilitative services to promote the functional independence and overall personal well-being for individuals that have physical, behavioral, emotional, and/or cognitive limitations within the Sioux Empire. Primary programs operated by Horsepower, include hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and groundwork.
