The Tricare for Life Care Initiative (TFLCI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and supporting military retirees, their families, survivors, caregivers, and those preparing for retirement as they navigate Tricare for Life, Medicare, and related military healthcare benefits.

Our mission is to provide free, accurate, and easy-to-understand educational resources that help beneficiaries understand eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and the coordination of Medicare, Tricare for Life, and other military health benefits. Through online educational content, resource guides, community support, and outreach, we empower individuals to make informed healthcare benefit decisions with greater confidence.

Founded by a military spouse with a background in health insurance, TFLCI was created to address the need for clear, trustworthy education during the transition to Tricare for Life and Medicare. What began as a small online community has grown into a global educational resource serving thousands of military retirees, family members, survivors, and caregivers around the world.
