MBIC is a lifeline for many in the Chicagoland area. Providing food, clothing, therapy, case management, community integration, education, social services, vocational training & so much more, MBIC is a "hub" integral to the lives of each of our participants.
Chicago's paratransit is a door to door transportation service that affords the members the opportunity to traverse the city in an accessible vehicle for $3.25per trip. Though nominal, the potential $6.50 per day, round trip fare, is a barrier for many.
MBIC would like to purchase 50-60 books of tickets (10 tickets per pack) to help offset the cost of transportation to participate in the program.
