Right here in Pasco County, 1 in 5 children struggles with food insecurity. That means when school ends on Friday, thousands of children don’t know if they’ll have enough to eat again until Monday morning.
That’s where Pack A Sack Food 4 Kids steps in.
Every week, we place 10–12 nutritious, kid-friendly food items into a discreet sack and send it home with a child who needs it most. Each sack costs just $6.50 — but the impact is far greater than the dollar amount.
We are currently feeding over 1,600 children in 37 schools across Pasco County — and the need continues to grow.

To keep this program running throughout the school year and summer, we must raise at least $250,000 annually just to purchase food.
With food prices rising and public benefits decreasing, families are under more pressure than ever. More children are being identified by schools. Some schools already have waitlists.
