Newbury, New HampshireNEHSA bears witness to the triumph of the human spirit by helping people with disabilities and their families enrich their lives through adaptive sports, recreation and social activities. Founded in 1972 by disabled Vietnam Veterans for disabled Veterans, NEHSA has evolved into one of the largest programs in the Northeast. NEHSA has been changing lives ever since, providing year round activities to people of all ages and disabilities. With more than 300 dedicated and highly trained volunteers, NEHSA provides one on one instruction in skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Family members are encouraged to participate in all NEHSA activities.
