FAMILY SERVICES OF WESTCHESTER INC

Family Services of Westchester, Inc. (FSW) is a private, non-profit, mental health and social service organization dedicated to strengthening individuals and families at all stages of the life cycle. Founded in 1954, FSW now has more than 50 different programs designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals, children and families throughout Westchester County. Headquartered in Port Chester, FSW has six additional Family Centers located in key regions of the County: Hastings-on-Hudson, Mount Vernon, Pelham, Sleepy Hollow, White Plains, and Yonkers. Major program areas include Family Mental Health Services; Adoption and Children’s Services; Early Childhood Education (Head Start/Early Head Start); Elder Services/Home Health Care; Big Brothers Big Sisters; Residential Services and Therapeutic Foster Care for Youth; Veterans Outreach and Support, and Camp Viva for families with HIV/AIDS. FSW’s new intergenerational program in White Plains, the Lanza Family Center for All Ages, is scheduled to open early in 2015.
