Our facilitated experiences bring people together to explore the stories, experiences, values, and identities they share. Participants then transform those conversations into something tangible—such as a collaborative mural or custom challenge coin—that represents who they are as a team and what they have experienced together.
PoP was built around a simple idea: connection matters. People are stronger when they feel seen, heard, valued, and connected to the people around them. Our programming is designed to strengthen belonging, shared identity, trust, peer support, and social connection.
We currently place particular emphasis on military-connected communities, including active-duty service members, veterans, military families, and organizations that support them. PoP is portable and can deliver programming wherever military-connected communities are located.
PoP is not therapy and does not replace clinical mental health care. Instead, we operate upstream by creating opportunities for meaningful human connection and strengthening protective factors that can contribute to resilience, wellbeing, and healthier teams and communities.
Through donations, sponsorships, grants, and corporate partnerships, Power of Paint works to provide these experiences at no cost to participating service members and communities.
