VETERANS OUTDOOR MINISTRIES

It is the mission of Veterans Outdoor Ministries to take veterans, their spouses/caregivers and families out of the indoors where they often feel trapped alone and shut off from the world and get them outdoors. We know that the outdoors has the healing power to help veterans that are struggling with mental health issues. We do this through hunting, fishing, family adventures, anything that gets them outdoors. The idea behind it is healing through comradery with other veterans, healing through nature, and we like to add one more strand to the cord. We are also faith based and believe in Jesus at Veterans Outdoor Ministries, we do NOT exclude based on faith ALL veterans are welcome in our adventures we just want people to know who we are and that we believe in the healing power of Jesus. As Veterans ourselves my wife and I know that the healing power in this combination is amazing we spend as much time in the outdoors as we possibly can and are trying to spread that enjoyment with the entire veteran community one hero at a time. All this with one goal in mind, to stop or at least do our best to minimize the 22 a day suicide rate that plagues our veteran community. We need to do our part to give these great American heroes everything we can because they signed a blank check for everything they had. God bless America

We take veterans there spouses and families on Outdoor adventures in many different ways like hunting, fishing, shark tooth hunting, top golf, Egmont Key family events ect. We are continually evolving and adding programs like veteran only adventures, veteran and spouse adventures, veteran and family adventures, spouse only adventures and veteran and child(ren) adventures.
