Time Outside of Time LLC produces a day long event called Ground Hum, a winter celebration of arts and experimental music. Our goal is to foster connections in the midst of the dreary Pacific Northwest winters around music. The 10 Ground Hum organizers originally met in the electronic dance music scene and wanted to create a more inclusive daytime time event for people in the electronic music community. We’re focused on supporting local experimental musicians and installation artists as well as bringing in nationally recognized artists for local audiences. We have produced Ground Hum for 3 years, our most recent event in March 2023, was at Seattle’s Washington Hall had over 200 attendees. We are entirely volunteer run and none of the organizers of Ground Hum make money from the event. We are reliant on ticket sales to cover the cost of booking artists,venues, and production rentals.
