iMPACT LENS is a narrative justice incubator based in Tacoma, Washington providing technical support and training in non-extractive trauma-informed storytelling and impact producing to BIPoC creatives. Since 2018, we have provided opportunities for local media makers to collaborate on projects that reflect and affirm their identities, create impact-driven media campaigns that center the experiences of historically marginalized communities, curate trauma-informed cultural hubs for collective healing, and facilitate immersive professional development that builds skill across artistic disciplines and deepens understanding of social injustices. We believe in the power of impact-driven radical storytelling to inspire healing from generational trauma and empower marginalized communities to liberate themselves from oppressive narratives that do not serve them. We leverage technology and the digital landscape to strengthen connections across diasporas and cultivate opportunities for BIPoC creatives to collaborate in impactful ways.
