Western Massachusetts Veterans Support Inc. (WMVSI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the men and women who serve our country.
Our primary focus is CURRENTLY SERVING MILITARY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES at Barnes Air National Guard Base and Westover Air Reserve Base. We also support veterans and their families throughout Western Massachusetts.
HOW WE HELP
Our goal is simple: to make sure those who serve, and those who have served, have access to the basic necessities and support they need.
Through our partnerships with Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westover Air Reserve Base, local Veteran Service Officers, and other community organizations, WMVSI identifies needs and provides direct assistance where it is needed most.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps WMVSI provide direct support to currently serving military members, military families, veterans, and their families.
$25 can help provide personal-care items, hygiene products, or a few essential household necessities.
$50 can help provide a combination of food, personal-care items, or household essentials.
$100 can help provide a meaningful package of food and essential items for a service member, veteran, or family.
$250 can help WMVSI provide food and essential items to several individuals or families, depending on their needs.
$500 can help us respond to multiple needs and provide larger quantities of essential food, personal-care, and household items to military and veteran families.
Every contribution helps us reach more people and respond to the needs of our military and veteran community. Your generosity gives WMVSI the ability to provide the right support to the right person, at the right time.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Serving our country comes with sacrifices that often extend beyond the service member. Military families can face deployments, training, relocations, long periods apart, and the added financial pressures that come with military life. At the same time, the rising cost of everyday necessities can make an unexpected expense or temporary hardship even more difficult to manage.
For veterans and their families, those challenges can continue long after military service ends. A job change, fixed income, rising grocery costs, or an unexpected household expense can quickly create a need for assistance.
WMVSI believes that asking for help should never diminish the pride of serving our country. Our role is to make sure military members, veterans, and their families have a community they can turn to when they need a helping hand.
