plant rows of sunflowers to aid our bee population. Begun 2019, we provide seeds to volunteers to plant in formations and then tend to them as they grow. Sunflowers are a critical part of the growing chain, provide food to both animals and people, smell great and aid in the making of our local sunflower honey.
If you garden, bring your gloves. If you have a small hoe please bring it.
knee pads are always helpful to have.
we provide the seeds and water.
a total of 6 people would make this a day event
but the upkeep of the garden will require one person every two days to water.
