VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 3436 CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

Our mission is simple: Veterans helping Veterans. As an all-volunteer organization made up of Veterans, the funds we receive go directly to provide immediate, practical assistance to Veterans facing hardship and other Veteran issues.

Our Veteran Volunteers support Veterans by assisting them with Veterans Administration claims filing and support, emergency financial assistance, and transportation to medical and other appointments. We work with other non-profit organizations to help reduce Veteran suicide, help in transitioning from military to civilian life, dental care and help with PTSD issues. We also work closely with the local communities and schools to create an awareness and understanding of Veterans. We provide a Memorial Day service, lead the July 4th parade and are very active in local community activities and causes.
