Assistance Dogs of the West is a nonprofit that trains service dogs for people with physical, mental and psychiatric disabilities. ADW also trains dogs for diabetic alert and seizure response. Many of the dogs are also placed with veterans and as courthouse dogs to aid children through the judicial process.

Assistance Dogs of the West trains service dogs for a variety of jobs. ADW works with veterans and the youth in the community to help train these service dogs. ADW service dogs work both locally and nationally with clients.
