Hope By Design is a Furniture Charity helping families in need of furniture assistance. We support a family that is moving into an apartment after suffering homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking, foster care, or just a difficult life situation or hardship.

We furnish family apartments with furniture, home decor, bedding, bath linens, and kitchenware. Our vision is that all persons and families experiencing hardship will: have access to home furnishings that meets their individual and family living needs; acquire an improved living environment, and a better quality of life; experience restored Hope through rest, relaxation, and recovery of the mind, body, and spirit.

Hope By Design is based out of North Metro Atlanta and is serving 10 counties including, but not limited to; Cherokee, Cobb, Dawson, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Lumpkin, and White Counties.

Hope By Design is a young nonprofit that is trying to serve as many families as possible. We have a lot of big expenses in order to fulfill our mission. It is very expensive to move furniture around town, to house and store the furniture, and to staff the thrift store, warehouse, and to pay moving labor.

Please consider supporting Hope By Design's mission and vision by donating your time in the thrift store or on the truck. We would like to use your talent to sew, repair and refurbish furniture, clean, decorate, or move families into their homes. We would also appreciate donations and funds for renting trucks, mileage, labor and fuel to pickup furniture and deliver furniture to families in need. In 2020, during Covid-19 we continued to serve families by providing emergency furniture assistance to over 50 families in Forsyth, Fulton, Cherokee, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Hall Counties.
