Our mission is to serve veterans through initiatives in art for healing, as well as by fostering a greater appreciation of our military’s service with the public and in schools. Central to the mission of the Patriot Art Foundation isWE THE PEOPLE: Portraits of Veterans in Americawhich is acclaimed artist Mary Whyte’s portraits of military veterans reintegrating into society and the workforce. Featuring portraits of current day veterans of all ages, in all walks of life and from every state, Whyte’s 50 large scale watercolors have captured the essence of what it means to be an American veteran today.
