This project supports United States veterans by funding a dedicated transport vehicle used to safely move service dogs and support veterans throughout the training and placement process.
The transport vehicle is essential to USVSD’s mission. It enables the organization to:
Transport service dogs to and from professional training
Safely deliver dogs to veteran partners
Support veterinary visits, evaluations, and follow-up care
Conduct outreach and community education events supporting veterans
Donations made through this project directly support the acquisition, outfitting, and operational readiness of a mission-critical transport vehicle. Contributions do not provide goods, services, or private benefit to donors.
This vehicle increases efficiency, expands reach, and ensures veterans receive consistent, reliable support, helping service dogs reach the veterans who need them most.
$50 – Fuel and transport supplies for service dog travel
$150 – Safety equipment, crates, and restraints
$300 – Veterinary transport and follow-up visits
$750 – Vehicle maintenance and operational readiness
$1,500+ – Major contribution toward a mission-critical transport vehicle
