Our mission is educating and inspiring young people to achieve through involvement in a support of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs and STEM-focused competition (Sponsored Programs). This includes the support of robotics programs and their related activities, which we believe provide an ideal nexus for learning and inspiration in both STEM disciplines and essential, adjunct skills including, but not limited to, written and verbal communication and collaborative skills. Our support includes, but is not limited to, assisting with educational initiatives, helping acquire sponsor funding and support, funding the design and build of robotic devices, as well as participation in and hosting of events related to the supported activities.
Central Texas FIRST Robotics Competition Alliance (the Corporation) is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, or corresponding sections of any future tax code and implementing rules in the Internal Revenue Service.
