WOLFPACK SEARCH & RECOVERY

Founded in November 2014, Wolfpack Search and Recovery (WPSAR) is a nonprofit organization, operating under Section 501(c)(3), dedicated to supporting missing persons search and recovery efforts. Driven by a dedicated team of over 15 local and national volunteers, including military veterans and firefighters, we are steadfastly committed to enhancing public safety within the Lehigh Valley. Our specialized teams of K9 and Drone operators augment our capabilities, ensuring our operations are both efficient and effective.

Operating purely on a volunteer basis, we never charge for our services nor deploy independently. Each year, we respond to approximately 12-15 callouts, primarily in Lehigh and Northampton Counties in Pennsylvania, which boast a population of nearly 700,000. Our impact, however, extends far beyond these counties, reaching an additional 2.2 million residents through mutual aid agreements in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Monroe, Montgomery, and Schuylkill counties.

Beyond our search and rescue operations, WPSAR is committed to educating the community. We provide guidance to local law enforcement, fire departments, and the public on effective missing persons protocols and equip children with crucial knowledge on what to do if they get lost. Our volunteers have assisted scouting groups in earning search and rescue badges, delivered engaging presentations at summer camps, and conducted outreach at assisted living and residential behavioral health centers. As residents of the Lehigh Valley, our volunteers generously dedicate their personal and financial resources towards addressing crises in the communities they call home.
