TAME THE KRAKEN INC

'Tame the Kraken' is more than a campaign; it is a beacon of hope and healing. By partnering with us, your organization can play a significant role in supporting those who have served our nation and ensuring they receive the care and resources they need to overcome their personal challenges.

Our aim to use this Pacific row to launch a greater initiative, ‘Row to Recovery’ an initiative that will inspire and empower people to support those veterans that need help in conquering their own personal Kraken. To bolster this mission, the team has partnered with organizations that align with that mission and throughout the campaign, the team will raise funds and awareness for our charitable partners. All profits will be donated to the organizations to advance this mission.

Through recreational therapy programs and rowing we aim to get those veterans struggling with mental health conditions, outside, on the water and benefiting from the sport of rowing, coastal rowing and ocean rowing (Veterans Helping Veterans). In additional to the physical benefits of rowing, studies have show that the act of rowing (being outside, challenged and working with others) elevates one's mood.

Tame the Kraken & Row to Recovery aims to increase the access to the sport and benefits it brings by providing equipment and training to established recreational therapy programs and develop others.
