YOUTH FOR TROOPS

Youth for Troops is a youth-led, service-focused nonprofit 501 (c)(3) started out of our desire as youth to inspire our generation and all other generations to serve together and support our service members and veterans. We hope that our generation will develop a respect and appreciation for those that protect our liberties and freedoms through meaningful experiences and unique service opportunities. Our mission is “To inspire patriotism in fellow youth and across generations by volunteering on behalf of service members and veterans through community service, advocacy, and education.”

Examples of service projects Youth for Troops organizes or supports include: assembly of backpacks for homeless veterans, making plastic mats for homeless veterans, packing care packages for deployed service members, sending care packages to deployed K-9 units and service dogs, decorating boxes for care packages to send to deployed service members, volunteer for Honor Guard and flatlines at patriotic events and military funerals, and appreciation card drives for veterans, wounded veterans, and service members. Your organization could help Youth for Troops in our mission to support service members and veterans through education, advocacy, and service projects.
