Support the BHCFL Outdoor Recreation Program & Family Retreat Week
by BLACK HOMESCHOOLERS OF CENTRAL FLORIDAAt Black Homeschoolers of Central Florida, our Outdoor Recreation Program and annual Family Retreat Week provide homeschool families with a unique opportunity to connect with nature, family, and community. These experiences introduce underrepresented families to outdoor activities that foster a deeper appreciation for nature and conservation while building strong family bonds and community fellowship.
Through Family Retreat Week, families are introduced to:
Outdoor camping and survival skills
Fishing, swimming, and nature-based safety practices
Fun and educational activities that inspire a love for the great outdoors
This program was established to deepen community connections through shared experiences, helping families build memories, confidence, and essential life skills in a peaceful outdoor environment.
Your donation makes this possible. Contributions help us:
Purchase camping and outdoor supplies for families.
Cover costs for activities, safety resources, and educational tools.
Ensure families can participate in this enriching program, regardless of background.
Together, we can provide families with transformative opportunities to explore, learn, and grow through outdoor recreation. Help us inspire a new generation to embrace nature, strengthen their families, and build a village of support in the great outdoors.
Your generosity makes a lasting impact—thank you for supporting this vital program!
