The Hampton Roads Chess Association (HRCA) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing the life benefits of chess to people of all ages and abilities across our region.
Hampton Roads Chess Association offers school and community chess programs, competitive play opportunities, and outreach services in the greater Hampton Roads region of eastern Virginia. We offer classes and services for ages 3 - adult. Our outreach programs include veterans, at-risk youth, seniors, persons with disabilities, girls chess, and Scouts BSA Chess Merit Badge workshops.
