NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF WOMEN VETERANS INC

The National Alliance of Women Veterans, Incorporated (NAWVINC) is a national, veteran‑led nonprofit dedicated to advancing the health, economic stability, and overall, well‑being of military families, dependents, women veterans who are sexually assaulted. We serve women who have been historically overlooked in traditional veteran systems, including Black women veterans, LGBTQ+ veterans, urban and rural veterans, and those impacted by homelessness, trauma, or justice involvement.
NAWVINC provides trauma‑informed programs, advocacy, and community partnerships that address the systemic barriers women veterans face across healthcare, housing, employment, and access to benefits. Our work includes leadership development, equity‑centered policy reform, resource navigation, and coalition building with federal, state, and community partners.
We champion a future where every woman veteran is seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Through culturally competent services and bold systems‑level advocacy, NAWVINC works to eliminate disparities and ensure that women veterans receive the dignity, respect, and opportunities they have earned.
