A volunteer Distribution Committee reviews grant requests, vets the organizations, and recommends grants based on the available funds, the dictates of those funds, and the viability of the organization and program. The MCCF Board of Directors then approves the slate of recommendations. At this time, 3% of the interest, dividends, and retained earnings is made available for grants and scholarships. MCCF does not charge any administrative fees to the funds so all additional earnings are rolled back into the endowment funds to continue to grow the funds.
