UNITED WAY OF BIG SPRING AND HOWARD COUNTY

Our purpose is to encourage, advocate and fundraise for our partner agencies who in turn serve the needs of every facet of our community without discrimination. We address the critical challenges our community faces by encouraging philanthropy and supporting our partner agencies. Each year we select partner agencies to provide funds to throughout the year and we raise funds to bolster and support their efforts. Many of our agencies depend on us in order to meet the needs of the community. Without our support, they would not be able to provide the assistance and services that are desperately needed in our community. We partner with agencies that serve youth, elderly, veterans, families, and those most vulnerable including the homeless and children of all ages. We believe that everyone should be able to live a dignified life, free of discrimination and strive to allow all people access to services necessary to meet this goal.
