The place you call home should never threaten your health, but for many in our community, it does just that. Habitat for Humanity Sarasota, Inc. launched the Critical Home Repair program to address the needs of low-income homeowners who are unable to pay for urgent repairs when they unexpectedly arise. The program is a resource for income-qualified Sarasota homeowners needing assistance with home repairs to eliminate health and safety barriers and improve living conditions so they may age in place with dignity and independence and prevent displacement.

Habitat Sarasota's Critical Home Repair program home repairs typically include roof, water heater, heating and cooling system replacement, and even termite treatment. Habitat Sarasota is the only non-profit organization in Sarasota that offers a Critical Home Repair program.
