Hamilton, VA – Joshua’s Hands is thrilled to announce its 41st annual Fall Festival, set to take place on October 17 from 10 am to 5 pm at Historic Walnut Creek Farm, just off Rt. 9 and Rt. 7. This year’s theme is “Celebrating with America!” and promises to offer a vibrant experience for all attendees.
Join us for a day filled with live entertainment featuring both local and regional artists. We welcome everyone from children to the young at heart, with activities such as fire trucks, face painting, balloon art, animal exhibits, and a preschool area known as Little Avenue. Expect pony rides, engaging kids’ crafts, and an array of carnival-style games to ignite the fun.
The festival will showcase heritage arts, allowing participants to enjoy hands-on experiences in quilting and knitting, alongside demonstrations in chair caning and wool spinning. There will also be animal exhibits and games galore. Celebrating its 41st year, this cherished community event is entirely free, including lunch from 11 am to 2 pm!
This incredible gift is made possible through the generosity of our community, which supports our live auction at 2 pm. Local and regional donations will be auctioned off, with proceeds helping to cover the expenses of the event and support the work of Joshua’s Hands. Some items up for bid include quilts, themed gift baskets, jewelry, Tupperware, restaurant gift cards, homemade treats, and much more.
Although this event is open and free to the public, it is a costly venture. We are seeking partners to support this free gift to the community.
