Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity

Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity works to ensure everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. Habitat serves the city of Fredericksburg as well as the counties of King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. The total population of this area is more than 300,000 people.

Founded in 1994, our Habitat affiliate has completed more than 25 homes and 100 home repairs to help provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for the community. Currently, Habitat focuses on providing permanent housing solutions to residents in need. We are requesting an investment to help sustain and grow our Homeownership Program, which is the core of our mission and regular activities.

Local residents in need of safe, affordable homeownership options work through the Habitat Homeownership Program. Through Habitat, applicants become eligible for an affordable mortgage for a home located in Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania, or Stafford.
