TALMAR's mission is to offer an innovative, therapeutic environment in which to provide work skills development, and vocational, educational and recreational programming in horticulture and agriculture. TALMAR, in collaboration with Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks, offers programs that are designed to be inclusive of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental challenges.
Vegetable, cut flower and egg farm in a serene environment offering occupational therapy, therapeutic horticulture programs, and work therapy programs. Particular focus on people with disabilities and veterans, but open to everyone. Volunteer opportunities abound.
